The only type of permanent vase permitted is a bronze vase that is part of a bronze memorial, a bronze vase and ring, or a granite vase on a granite monument.

Fresh and artificial flowers are allowed in the permanent vases. If they are placed in temporary vases, both the vase and the decorations will be removed when the section is mowed. Fresh flowers and plants are not permitted in the mausoleum chapel except for committal services.

During the mowing season temporary cones, wreaths, sprays, and decorations are only permitted if placed in line with the memorial row.

No glass containers, statuary, ceramics, terra cotta, resin, exposed wires, toys, balloons, birdhouses, or pinwheels are permitted at any time.

No plantings are allowed except those planted by cemetery staff.

The cemetery is not responsible for theft or damage to any personnal property placed on or near interment rights elsewhere in the cemetery.

No coping, curbing, fencing, or borders of any kind, nor any rock, bark or like material are allowed around lots or memorials.

Scheduled general clean up dates are March 15th-31st, June 15th-30th, and October 15th-31st. All decorations to be retained should be removed prior to these times. Graves can be appropriately decorated after the first of the month following clean up.

During clean up the cemetery staff will remove all decorations on the ground, all flowers that are out of season, and any decorations that are inappropriate or unsightly.

Evergreen grave blankets and all holiday decorations may be placed in late November or December after the fall clean up, once the grass is dormant.

The cemetery will typically remove all holiday decorations during the spring-clean up in March. If weather should be unseasonably warm the cemetery may remove grave blankets earlier to protect the grass.

One appropriate shepherd hook per grave is allowed.

Please remember that all decoration regulations are zoning regulations. They exist more to protect the conscientious lot holder than to hinder him. If there were no regulations, both the cemetery and the conscientious lot holder would find good efforts useless. While we all cannot agree completely on decoration rules, the cemetery has tried to establish the fairest set of rules for all necessities and enforce them fairly and uniformly on all.

  Thank you for your cooperation!
